The Application Solution of Runeon (bile acids)on shrimp

RUNOEN (30% bile acids ) is a functional intestine promoter produced by Shandong Longchang Animal Health CO.,LTD . The main content is bile acids, which are produced in the liver and transformed from cholesterol. The major functions of bile acids are to assist the emulsification and utilization of fat and fat-soluble vitamins and protect the health of liver and gallbladder. For shrimps, bile acids are the necessary nutrients to maintain the normal growth.

 

Product contents:  bile acids ≥30%; Excipient/vehicle:70% starch

 3.Bile acids could be a source of cholesterol, which is an essential nutrient to help generate ecdysone, then promote the metamorphosis and shorten the molting time.

Dosage and application:

Juvenile shrimp: 600g-800 g/T, prawn: 600-800g/T

20 kg/bag, store in a dry and cool place.

Experiment protocol:

Aim to study the effects of RUNEON on the growth and blood biochemical index of Litopenaeus vannamei.

Litopenaeus vannameis with Initial body weight（1.04±0.02）g were chosen, divide into 2 treatment groups (experiments group and control group), with 3 repeats respectively.

Both the treatment fed the same diet, the experiment adding 600 g RUNEON while the control group without RUNEON.

Experiment period : 60 days

The indexes:

1. Check the appearance of hepatopancreas after 7 days with Runeon.

1) The color of hepatopancreas is obvious deeper

2) Covered albuginea is clear

3) Srimp intestine is strong

4) the transparent of shrimp body is enhanced.

 

2. Check the growth performance

1)survival rate,

2)weight gain,

3)feed conversion ratio (FCR)

 

3.Determination of blood biochemical index to study immune ability

1)superoxide dismutase (SOD)  

2)glutathione peroxidase vigor (GSH-Px)

3)ALP activity
